'Mountain Dew' Gyokuro 山の露 玉露, an Uji Hikari Varietal (shaded growth), is a 'heat-resistant' processed gyokuro ("Netto"). By 'heat-resistant' I mean you can brew this gyokuro at a temperature level considerably higher than classic gyokuro leaf.
This style of gyokuro is achieved by removing core buds that contain 'more intense' characteristics. You can still enjoy the flavourful characteristic delicate aroma and mellowness even though you steep this leaf in a considerably hotter water temperature.
To brew, use 8 grams and steep in 200ml (at 80°C~90°C) for 1 minute or so. I recommend that you experiment a little bit with the temperature range; I find 80° or so to be ideal. You can easily get 3 rounds and for a very mild finish even a 4th.
Possibly, the gyokuro for those 'on the run'.
