Sōshin Matcha 'Longevity' 永寿 is a full shaded Samidori varietal and collected through hand-picked harvesting.

This Matcha is produced in a limited high-quality tea plantation located in the Wazuka area of Uji. Our Matcha 'Longevity' 永寿 has a sweet, umami richness and unique fragrance that is distinctly unique to its production area.

This is an exceptional Matcha and ranks among the best.

It should also be noted that our teas are not the 'same' as other Matchas bearing the same name. It just so happens that a few of our Matcha selections have 'poetic names' [茶銘] that are rather popular and used for other Matcha products. I challenge anyone to try and compare. The answer lies in the sipping.
