An Exquisite Grade of Matcha Tea
The literal name for this tea - 'Kuroki no Ume' 黒木ノ梅 - is "plums of the 'dark', or, 'black' tree" insinuating the tree is of an aged growth or even perhaps of 'esteemed lineage', my preferred term of reference.
Regardless of how we shall name it, this is a supreme Matcha exuding a full rich umami flavour that carries a sweet lingering floral like essence.
I use this in my service of koicha thick tea.
Novitiates are typically astounded by its desirability and almost mysterious flavours. I have even had one person tell me that it helped restore her health in particular characteristics.
Well, I only suggest that it is an outstanding tea - and highly drinkable. One of the best out there.
